Moving along with Silverlight 2, I happened to come across the latest updates to the Silverlight Gallery. Microsoft has now provided a Deep Zoom example that allows you to control each image individually while still retaining the layered zooming and fading effects that Deep Zoom is really known for. I found the demo fascinating, so I have incorporated the same in my website. Who knows maybe some of Professor Rasala's improvements to The Deep Zoom experiment must have been implemented in this latest update.
